Too many books to read

Last evening my sister gave me a book she loved: Chloë, by Freya North (I know nothing about this writer.) She said that the heroine goes to Scotland at some point in the novel. My sister is big on Scotland, and me too, the difference between us being that she'd already traveled up there twice (or three times? Can't remember now), but not me. I love Scotland from books and travel photographs, and intuitively. Today I'll do some research on Freya North (according to the book cover she's the bestselling author of Sally.)

There's a big pile of To Be Read books in my bedroom, some I already started but haven't finished ... all borrowed from the library, and now I start another one. Bad habit!
